This notice explains what personal information Seen Giant collects, why, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
Seen Giant is a trading name of Andrzej Sachmata, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (full address on our legal information page). We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us at contact@seengiant.com.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, business name, town, website address and anything else you choose to write.
- When you become a client: the details we need to build and run your website and Google Business Profile, and to invoice you.
- Business contact details from public sources: if we contact your business first, we use publicly available information such as the Companies House register and your business's own website.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and prepare your quote (steps you ask us to take before a contract).
- To provide the services you buy from us (performance of a contract).
- To keep business and tax records (legal obligation).
- To contact limited companies about our services (our legitimate interests). Every message tells you how to opt out, and we stop as soon as you ask.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run our business: Cloudflare (website hosting, our contact form and email forwarding) and Google (email). These providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for 6 years after our work ends, as required for tax purposes. If you opt out of our messages, we keep only what we need to make sure we don't contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. Email contact@seengiant.com and we will reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
